CEO & Founder
ShMika Elder, also known as Elle, serves as the CEO and founder of PUSHPLAY VIP LLC, a distinguished media company specializing in TVOD and SVOD services. Her company plays a pivotal role in assisting independent filmmakers and content creators in generating revenue.
Aside from her role as an entrepreneur, Elle pursued her education at Clark Atlanta University, where she earned a basketball scholarship for a four-year stint as a Lady Panther. During her time on the court, she achieved the remarkable feat of winning the 2000 SIAC championship game and received the coveted Hustle Award.
Elle's journey towards filmmaking commenced during her childhood, as she often found herself tinkering with her father's VHS camcorder. It was during these early moments that she discovered her passion for filmmaking and embarked on a journey to master the art of editing.
Fast forward to 2020, amidst the pandemic, Elle produced and edited a short film titled "Smokey Halloween," which she later released on YouTube. Her experiences during this period led her to the realization that traditional DVD sales were no longer viable in the digital age. She set out to find a way to monetize her films digitally, initially considering a membership site as a distant possibility. After persistent searching, she discovered the ideal software that offered a paywall for transactional video on demand (TVOD) screenings, marking the birth of PUSHPLAY.VIP LLC.
As PUSHPLAY.VIP LLC continues to grow and extend its influence within the entertainment industry, Elle remains steadfast in her commitment to empower independent filmmakers and content creators. Her unwavering dedication is aimed at reshaping the industry's narrative, demonstrating that creativity and talent can thrive when provided with the right platform and support.

Jermaine Thomas
Jermaine, an acclaimed filmmaker hailing from Los Angeles, California, has been deeply immersed in the world of filmmaking since 2013, when he produced and edited his inaugural film, "Optimistic Chaos." His journey in film has been marked by numerous accolades, as he clinched awards at renowned film festivals such as The Vegas Movie Awards, Best Shorts Film Festival, Twilight Tokyo Film Festival, and The Kwanzaa Film Festival.
In the year 2023, Jermaine assumed the role of General Manager at Pushplay.vip, a position that resonates with his profound passion for elevating independent filmmakers to new heights in their craft. As the General Manager, he harbors a clear-cut ambition: to establish a tight-knit Pushplay.vip film collective, fostering mutual support and pioneering a novel model that can significantly propel indie filmmakers toward their aspirations.
Jermaine draws inspiration from a powerful quote by Buckminster Fuller, which guides his every endeavor: "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." This quote encapsulates his relentless drive to excel in his role and to bring about transformative change within the industry.
